Registered Dietitian

After many years of exploring various clinical settings and learning the impact that socioeconomic factors and diet culture have on public health, I found my calling in the world of anti-diet, weight-inclusive nutrition.

I’m passionate about providing access to comprehensive care for people affected by eating disorders who may have slipped through the cracks of the public system or are limited in the type of care they can receive.

At Healing Recovery Centre, we provide evidence-based, trauma-informed, and inclusive care that supports individuals in all stages of recovery. Our alternative, multidisciplinary approach caters to individuals in early recovery, those who haven’t found success with standard treatment, and everyone in between.

Meet Kinga

Registered Dietitian

My name is Kinga Balogh. I am a Registered Dietitian and Health Coach, specializing in eating disorders. I am passionate about supporting clients to develop a trusting relationship with food, engage in intuitive eating and movement habits, and achieve body acceptance. I help clients cultivate a holistic self-care practice rooted in self-compassion and self-acceptance to anchor their healing journey.

Whether you have a formal diagnosis (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, ARFID, OSFED, orthorexia, emetophobia) or simply suspect over- and/or undereating patterns contributing to weight fluctuation, body image struggles and relentless food preoccupation, I invite you to reach out.

Eating disorders are more than eating and body image struggles. I assist clients with hormonal imbalance and digestive challenges as well. I take a weight-neutral and trauma-informed approach as I strive to create an atmosphere where you can open up about your vulnerabilities. I combine powerful coaching techniques with nutritional science principles, ultimately empowering you to take ownership and accountability of your wellness goals.

I take special interest in counselling athletes who struggle with RED-S (Relative Energy Deficiency in Sports) to maximize their sports performance through optimal fueling. Furthermore, I help women navigate fertility challenges secondary to eating disorders and offer support in pregnancy and the postpartum period.

I offer both individual and family sessions to help co-create personalized care plans, including meal planning and care coordination with medical and mental health professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services. Recovery is possible, welcome to this stepping stone of your healing journey!
